Pointfore Pro ~ Lance Hunter

Lance Hunter

Lance Hunter has long been involved with badminton at provincial, national and international levels. His family has been playing badminton for three generations and he has represented Canada as a junior and senior in many international tournaments.

Lance represented Canada at the Pan American Junior Championships and at the World Junior Championships in 1988. As a senior, Lance continued to represent Canada at the 1997 Canada Open, 1999 Scottish Open and the 2000 World Championships in Spain. Since 2000, Lance has been ranked in the top ten in Ontario in Men's Singles and Doubles and has been in the top 1% of Ontario in all three events. He currently coaches and trains at the K-W Badminton Club in Kitchener, Ontario.

When asked what makes Pointfore Canada a different company he says: "That's an easy question. The quality of service is excellent, and they have a wide range of products and supplies." Lance has been sponsored by several other companies in the past to know enough about the badminton industry. He approached Pointfore Canada after hearing about the great reputation the company has from his doubles partner Mike Kaytar.

"No one needs the most expensive racquet. Everyone needs a racquet that suits their personal strengths and skill set. The Ultra Power 911 is the racquet that I love. I tried many racquets before but after giving this a few hits I knew this was the racquet for me. I love the solid feel that the racquet gives when making contact with the shuttlecock." Pointfore Canada prices their racquets competitively and well below some other companies, making their equipment much more affordable and accessible for all players in Canada.

Pointfore Canada is proud to sponsor Lance Hunter because of his leadership and his technical expertise that he has passed on to many in the sport of badminton. Lance has represented Canada throughout his badminton career and all of his contributions have helped increase the level of play and awareness of the sport across Canada.
